Table 1: Microarrays containing prostatic carcinoma and normal tissues were subjected to immunohistochemistry with an antibody against LPL. Cancer adjacent to NAT and adenocarcinoma (grades 1-3) were present in the microarray. The number (n) of cores for each type are indicated in parentheses in the table. Two investigators performed the analysis, and results are provided as percent intensities. *p<0.05 and **p<0.001 vs. staining intensity of normal prostatic tissue. Values are expressed as mean ± SEM. Staining was performed using two different microarrays (Biomax: PR243 and PR243b).
