Melatonin group: Exhibited the largest reduction in MDA levels (-1.4 ± 0.2 nmol/mL), suggesting a strong effect of melatonin in attenuating oxidative damage.
Lycopene group: Demonstrated a significant reduction in MDA levels (-1.2 ± 0.2 nmol/mL), slightly smaller than the melatonin group but still substantial compared to the placebo group.
This data highlights the efficacy of both melatonin and lycopene in reducing oxidative stress by lowering MDA levels.
