Biography

Dr. Xu is a Professor and Investigator of Epidemiology, Human Genetics & Environmental Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University Bio-X Institutes with adjunct academic appointment at the Shanghai Menth Health Center.

Research Interest

Dr. Xu has been focusing on the inter-disciplinary research ranging from epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, machine learning, preventive medicine, to genome medicine. Dr. Xu�s main research fields include: 1) statistical inference and data mining of multi-omics biomedical big data in human complex diseases; 2) molecular genetic basis of human diseases; 3) systems epidemiology and biology.
