Biography
Qiming Jin has been working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS and an MS in oral surgery from Harbin Medical University in China, and a PhD from Hokkaido University in Japan. He has also completed the University of Michigan’s Graduate Program in Restorative Dentistry in 2009. He has extensive experience mentoring and tutoring graduate students. He has been in private practice for several years. He is highly accomplished in research already with 15 research presentations, 37 scientific peer-review papers, contributions to 2 published chapters, 1 patent, and 29 published abstracts. He has already been a PI or Co-investigator on 5 grants. He is very passionate about clinical dentistry and researches.
Research Interest
Bone biology, regenerative dentistry and dental implantology using growth factors therapies and cell therapies.
