Biography
Dr. Richard Li is an Associate Professor of Forensic Biology in John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Additionally, he serves as a faculty member for the Ph.D. Program in Forensic Science specialization of the Doctoral Program in Criminal Justice, John Jay College. He earned his M.S. in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has served as a DNA analyst at the Department of Forensic Biology, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner of New York City. For the past decade, he has held faculty positions in forensic science programs.
Research Interest
Dr. Li’s current research interests include forensic analysis methods potentially useful for processing biological evidence recovered from crime scenes.
