Biography
Dr. Isawi is an Associate Professor specializing in water treatment, desalination, and hydrogeochemistry. She earned her Ph.D. in 2016 from Ain Shams University in collaboration with the University of Waterloo, Canada. She has published over 25 high-impact papers, with more than 400 citations and an H-index of 12. Her research focuses on reverse and forward osmosis, membrane distillation, nanocomposite membranes, removal of contaminants from groundwater and wastewater, and hydrogeochemical studies. She supervises graduate research, serves on editorial boards, reviews for multiple international journals, and has received awards for excellence in research and innovation in water treatment technologies.
