Biography
Dr. Igor Monsellato has completed his Ph.D at the age of 33 years from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He gained a fellowship on Robotic Surgery at San Giovanni – Addolorata Hospital, Rome, Italy and worked at European Institute of Oncology (EIO - Milan) for 5 years, focusing his work on colorectal cancer and surgery. He is PI of the multicenter trial TiMiSNAR - Timing to Minimally Invasive Surgery after Neoadiuvant chemoRadiotherapy for rectal cancer: a multicenter randomized controlled study (https://www.timisnar.it) and PI of the biomarkers substudy TiMiSNAR mirna. He has published more than 20 papers in reputed journals and participated in several national and international events.
